Bob Eskridge, President of Eskridge & Associates was recently informed by the Center for Veteran Enterprise, Department of Veteran Affairs in Washington DC that Eskridge & Associates has been formally certified as a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business. Eskridge & Associates is now eligible to participate in Veterans First Contracting Program Opportunities within the Veterans Administration (VA). The Veterans First Program was signed into law, Dec 22, 2006, by President Bush to authorize a unique “Veterans First” approach specific to VA contracting. This approach changes the priorities for contracting preferences within VA, placing SDVOSBs and VOSBs first and second, respectively, in satisfying VA’s acquisition requirements. The goal of the program is to simplify the procedures to be able to increase the contracts awarded to qualified Veteran Owned and Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Businesses for various acquisitions of products and services with the VA.
