Eskridge Returns from NAPR/NALTO National Conference in Memphis, TN.

Round Rock, TX, May 6, 2008. Bob Eskridge, President of Eskridge & Associates returned this week from Memphis, Tennessee, where he attended the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR) and the National Association of Locum tenens Organizations (NALTO) National Convention and annual meeting.

The National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR) and the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO) were established for the purpose of crafting national organizations through which professional physician recruiters could work together to maintain standards of excellence within the industry and ensure the highest degree of quality in recruitment services.

The Convention theme was “Curing Your Recruiting Blues.” The NAPR/NALTO School of healthcare Recruitment 101 track for beginner recruiters was held April 30, 2008 before the convention. The School of healthcare Recruitment 201 track for advanced recruiters was held May 3, 2008 after the Convention ended. Tracks for Locum Tenens and Managers completed the full complement of sessions offered to attendees. Special guest speakers included RAD Kenneth P. Mortisugu, MD, MPH, FACPM. Former Acting Surgeon General and Vice president of Global Strategic Affairs, LifeScan; Charles Lauer, FHIMSS, Corporate VP, Crain Communications; Linda Lawrence, MD, FACEP, Col, USAF, MC, President of American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and Earl Taylor, PhD, Dale Carnegie.
